The Red Storm rolled to a 40-2 victory over Plattsburgh on the road Friday night. Saranac Lake moves to 2-0 and is 88-2 over its first two games.
Beekmantown 43, AuSable Valley 22
The Eagles' Justin Stevens eclipsed the 200 yard mark on the ground and Beekmantown rolled off 23 second quarter points on its way to a 43-22 win over AuSable Valley on Friday night.
The Red Storm boys will look to improve on a 2-16 record last season, but after graduating five last year, only five remain on the team this year.
Coach Emily Doyle will be new to the Red Storm girls’ varsity soccer sidelines this fall.

The Lake Placid cross country team returns every runner from last year’s boys and girls squads for 2014.
The Lake Placid Blue Bombers volleyball team went 2-14 but took home Section VII Class D championship honors.
After a 10-4-2 mark in 2013, the Blue Bomber boys look to repeat as Section VII Class C champions for the third time in a row this season.
The Lake Placid varsity girls’ soccer team lost five players from last season’s 4-10-2 team, but return 10 entering this fall to chase the Section VII Class C championship.
After a 5-5 season that included winning a Section VII Class C Championship, the Red Storm looks to continue the trend, one game at a time.
